start playing the game
don't be a loser
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” - Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)
we hear often that life is a game, but are you even participating? and if you are, are you even having fun?
christmas dinner, your brother breaks out the card game uno, and half the family decides to join in and play. it starts off enjoyable, but then your family begins using their cards to get you out of the game. you feel angry, cornered, pressured, mad even, and you decide to quit before you can lose. and now at every christmas dinner, no one wants to ask you to play.
how many of us do that in the game of life? quit before we think we are about to lose. but what if we are actually set up to win, and we just don’t see the plan or how it will unfold in our favor?
life is not a battle, but most people think it is. people are at war with themselves and with each other, and that war starts in the mind and brings the battle into the heart.
life is based on God’s laws. the Bible, both the old and new testament, teaches each of us these laws, but they are often overlooked or misconstrued, and the battle within continues.
if you look closely at the parables of Jesus, he was teaching us that life operates on the principle of giving and receiving.
what i send out, in my words, my thoughts, my emotions, and my actions, will come back to me.
if i give hatred, i will receive hatred. if i give love, i will receive love. if i constantly criticize others, that criticism returns to me multiplied. if i deceive others, i will be deceived. and so on.
my life mirrors me. this is not just about my behavior. it is also about my imagination.
“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” - Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
in the holy scripture, the “heart” does not just mean my emotions. it also means my inner world, my imagination, my beliefs, and my dominant thoughts. whatever i consistently imagine and emotionally rehearse will eventually show up in my outer life.
my imagination is creative power, not just some fantasy that will never unfold in real time.
if a person constantly fears illness and mentally lives in that fear, they are impressing that image onto their subconscious mind. over time, that inner picture works itself outward.
if a person constantly envisions themselves as someone who gets treated like royalty everywhere they go, over time, they will notice that they are treated like royalty everywhere they go.
if life is a game, then imagination is one of the main controls. to “win” the game, a person must train their imagination. when i discipline my imagination to focus on what is good, aligned, and life-giving, i begin to attract perfect health, wealth, love, meaningful relationships, joyful career paths, self-expression, and my highest vision.
to train my imagination, i must understand how my mind works. there is my subconscious mind, which is power without judgment.
my subconscious mind doesn’t decide what’s right or wrong. it simply executes whatever is impressed upon it. whatever i feel deeply, whatever i vividly imagine, or whatever i repeat with emotion will be accepted as instructions by the subconscious mind, and it will begin producing in detail all that i have felt, imagined, and repeated with emotion.
my subconscious mind obeys.
my conscious mind is my analytic mind, the part that reacts to what it sees. my conscious mind notices problems, illness, lack, drama, and limitation.
if left unchecked, my conscious mind will keep replaying those images and impressing them onto my subconscious. the conscious mind is responsible for why many of us keep recreating what we do not want.
my conscious thoughts become subconscious programming.
“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” - 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV)
I AM responsible for choosing which thoughts are allowed to take root in my mind.
the Divine mind is the God-mind within me. it is the realm of perfect ideas, Divine intelligence, and higher vision.
there is a perfect design for my life and for everyone’s life. within me is a Divine blueprint, a purpose meant only for me, a destiny that aligns with my gifts and calling. within everyone is their own unique and Divine blueprint meant only for them.
sometimes this Divine plan comes into my awareness as an idea that feels too good to be true, but it is not too good to be true. it is recognition of what is rightfully mine. what may feel unrealistic can actually be my true calling surfacing within my higher Divine mind.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
while playing the game of life, many people start chasing things that are not aligned with their Divine plan. they pursue relationships, careers, and goals that do not rightfully belong to them. even if achieved, those things bring dissatisfaction or even chaos.
when the right thing appears, the wrong thing will fall away without harm or loss to anyone. this is the law of substitution. if something leaves my life, expectedly or unexpectedly, it may be God clearing space for my proper alignment.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all things shall be added to you.” -Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
“The kingdom of God is within you.” -Luke 17:21 (NKJV)
the “kingdom” is not external circumstances. it is inner alignment with my Highest Self, my Divine mind, and my Divine plan. when i align internally, the external must rearrange itself.
the kingdom is not a place one goes after death. it is a state of consciousness. i have said this before in my posts, and i will consistently say it. the kingdom of heaven is the realm of perfect ideas, the Divine blueprint of one’s life.
“For by words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” -Matthew 12:37 (NKJV)
Jesus told us in many ways that our words have power. what i repeatedly say becomes law in my experience.
many people speak limitation into their outer world, even as jokes, without realizing that they are programming it into their subconscious, which will obey, for it does not understand jokes.
the subconscious mind accepts a person’s words as instructions and will pave the path for those words to be realized, whether they are good or bad.
if one keeps saying things such as:
“I AM broke.”
“I AM unlucky.”
“nothing ever works out for me.”
then those statements are impressed upon the subconscious mind and eventually externalized, for it is law that they do. words are seeds being planted and will shape the way a person’s life takes form in the “game.”
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” -Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV)
this same law works for creating wealth, prosperity, love, and abundance. if i can impress poverty upon my subconscious mind, i can also impress prosperity. if i have impressed fear or doubt upon my subconscious mind, then i can also impress unwavering faith. the law is neutral and responds to what i give it.
Jesus told us not to panic, for multiplication happens through blessing and expectation.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” -Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)
every desire, whether i speak it aloud or silently, is a form of demand upon the Divine Presence within me. God is never withholding anything from me. i just need to make the first move and start playing the game to win. i refuse to be a loser. what about you?
“Concerning the work of My hands, you command Me.” - Isaiah 45:11 (NKJV)
there is an unlimited supply on the path that I AM walking in this game, but it must be activated by my desire, my spoken word, and my actions, which are always guided by my intuition, and by my faith, which cannot be broken by outer appearances.
my intuition is my inner instruction, and it is coming from within, from God. sometimes my intuition will tell me to make a move, or to stay home, or not to go, or to go right instead of left. maybe it will tell me to wait, or even lead me somewhere that makes no rational sense.
my intuition does not have to make sense to my thinking mind. i just need to follow its instructions, and follow them on time. when I AM aligned with faith, it opens doors that i could not see before. i cannot violate or ignore my inner knowing and expect to be in Divine alignment.
absolutely nothing stands between me and my highest timeline, my highest life, except fear, whether that is fear of lack, failure, sickness, loss, or even insecurity. fear is misdirected faith, for it is faith in what i do not want.
“Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” -Matthew 8:26 (NKJV)
faith and fear both produce results in the game of life. the only difference is the direction. if i replace fear with faith, then my outcome in the game changes. i go from losing to winning. and i love to win!
the goal of anyone’s life is never to struggle. we are all meant to live beautiful lives. in order to do so, we must erase all mental pictures of “evil” or limitation. we must impress our subconscious minds with good images, and we must get clear with God so we know exactly what belongs to us by His Divine plan.
my subconscious mind is always recording my every thought, word, and emotional reaction. my subconscious mind is a silent watcher and listener, and it carries out my instructions in detail. if i make the mistake of rehearsing disaster, i must prepare for disaster. if i rehearse success, i must prepare for success. all the work that needs to be done is internal.
if my subconscious mind is like a record player, i get to decide if i want to change the record that is playing. all my old limiting beliefs can be dismantled.
I AM affirming with authority, “i now erase every false record in my subconscious. every belief rooted in fear is now dissolved. i now establish new patterns of perfect health, wealth, love, and right self-expression through the Christ within me.”
I AM not begging. I AM directing God’s energy because there is death and life in the power of my tongue. my words can change my conditions. when i change my inner dialogue, i change my reality.
the game of life is always responding to my imagination, my words, my faith, and my emotional focus. the subconscious mind obeys my instructions, and if fear programs it, then my faith can reprogram it.
there is a Divine plan for my life, and the kingdom of heaven is within me. the “game” is learning how to align with my Divine plan. the moment i take responsibility for my inner world, my outer world will start rearranging into heaven. and then i win the game. with God, i can never lose.
